Full Stack Engineer/Developer

We are looking for highly motivated and savvy Full Stack Engineer/Developer to grow capabilities and expand our Consulting practice in Malaysia and APAC. Full stack engineer/developer play a crucial role in the success of web development projects, ensuring efficient, high-quality, and secure applications that meet user needs and business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain both client-side and server-side components of web applications.
  • Collaborate with designers and product managers to deliver high-quality user experiences.
  • Design and implement RESTful APIs and integrate with various third-party services.
  • Optimize application performance and scalability while ensuring a responsive and dynamic user interface.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot application issues across the stack.
  • Implement security best practices and ensure data protection measures are in place.
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends, applying them effectively to projects.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies such as daily stand-ups and sprint planning.

Technical Skill Set

  • Proficient in front-end technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
  • Strong back-end development skills with languages such as Node.js, Python, Ruby, or Java.
  • Experience with database management systems (SQL/NoSQL) such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Firebase.
  • Knowledge of cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform and experience deploying applications to cloud environments.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and tools like Docker, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
  • Understanding of version control using Git, including branching and merging strategies.

Soft Skill Set

  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and creatively.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Work Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 2 years of experience in full stack development or related fields.
  • Proven track record of successful project delivery in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working in an Agile development methodology.
